Arlington-based AES Corp. has named Holly Keller Koeppel to its board of directors.
In addition, Sandra Moose and Sven Sandstrom retired from the board. Moose served for 11 years and Sandstrom for 13 years.
Koeppel was most recently partner and global co-head of Citi Infrastructure Investors, a division of Citigroup from 2010 until February.
Previously, she was executive vice president and chief financial officer of American Electric Power Corp. from 2006 until 2009.
Moose is a former senior vice president and director of The Boston Consulting Group.
Sandstrom is a former managing director of the World Bank.
AES, a global power company with operations in 18 countries, had revenues of $17 billion last year. It has 18,500 employees.
