Norfolk-based Vandeventer Black LLP has hired Robert “J” Stinnette as a legal technology manager to add depth and specialization to technology-intensive areas of its law practice.

Stinnette serves as the firm’s principal technical resource and adviser, providing support in litigation technology and cybersecurity.

Stinnette has 20 years of experience in IT consulting for private industry and government agencies, including working as a forensic computer examiner for federal and state criminal investigative agencies.

Vandeventer Black LLP, founded in 1883, has offices in Norfolk and Richmond; Raleigh and Kitty Hawk, N.C.; and Germany.
