A call center operator announced Wednesday plans to hire more than 400 full-time employees at its Richmond office.
Minacs, a business solutions company, says it is adding positions because of an increase in call volumes for a long-standing health-care client.
Gus Gikas, Minacs’ chief delivery officer for North America, said in a statement that the company opened in Richmond more than two years ago and expects to quadruple in size by the end of 2015. Minacs currently has 200 full-time employees.
The company is seeking team leaders and supervisors to manage inbound calls from members, providers, and physicians.
Minacs says it offers competitive wages and perks such as performance incentives, paid training and tuition reimbursement.
Minacs provides outsourcing business services to corporations in the manufacturing, retail, telecom, technology, media and entertainment, banking, insurance, healthcare, and public sectors. The company employs 21,000 people in 35 centers around the world.
