Allegiancy, a Richmond-area based commercial real estate asset manager, expanded its corporate footprint with a recent move to a new 8,029-square-foot headquarters at 1100 Boulders Parkway, Suite 605, in Richmond.
The company moved from The Fairfax Building on Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County. It said the move is in keeping with its overall growth plan. The new location gives Allegiancy the space to add more employees during the next two years. Currently, it has a staff of 18.
The company reports that assets under management have grown by more than 400 percent during the past year to about $1 billion. This was accomplished through organic growth and the acquisition of other asset management companies. Allegiancy said it plans to grow this figure by an additional 400 percent during the next two years.
“With the anticipation of even greater corporate growth, we wanted to move into a space that could accommodate us and our growth plans. We have room in the new headquarters to more than double our staff. Our plan is to stay at this location for the next two years, after which we will need to expand again,” Allegiancy’s Chief Operating Officer David Starowicz said in a statement.
