Arlington-based CEB has acquired Australia-based CEO Forum Group for $9.48 million.

CEO Forum provides membership–based peer group briefing services for senior executives of foreign-owned organizations doing business in Australia.

CEB is a best-practice insight and technology company. CEB provides leaders at more than 10,000 companies with intelligence to manage talent, customers, and operations effectively.

CEB said CEO Forum’s services extend the Arlington company's Leadership Council model, which enables members to apply insights from the other companies to save time and improve business outcomes.

CEB will continue to offer CEO Forum's core briefing services and network (International CEO Forum, International CFO Forum and International HR Director Forum) to its members.

CEO Forum's founders, Chris Cheatley and James O'Toole, will guide the company through the transition period.
