Denver-based H5 Data Centers, a colocation and wholesale data center provider, has acquired a 70,000-square-foot data center in Ashburn.
No financial details were disclosed.
The data center can be expanded to more than 100,000 square feet, and features at least 8.5 MVA (mega volt amp) of power capacity.
H5 said it will market the facility to international carriers, colocation and cloud services providers, and enterprises as a powered shell or build-to-suit data center.
H5 Ashburn represents the company’s seventh data center in the United States and joins a growing list of markets including Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, San Jose, San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Seattle.
