Vandeventer Black renews 39,000-square-foot lease in downtown Norfolk

The law firm of Vandeventer Black LLP has renewed its lease for 39,000 square feet at 101 W.  Main St. in downtown Norfolk. JLL’s Deborah Stearns represented the landlord in the transaction while Wes Edwards, also of JLL, represented the building owner.

The transaction was among several recent deals for JLL in the Hampton Roads market that totaled more than 191,000 square feet. Some of the other transactions are listed below:

 Landlord representation

Expeditors International of Washington leased 30,008 square feet at 1400 Cavalier Boulevard in Chesapeake. Gregg Christoffersen and Erin Corrie of JLL represented the building owner.

Tenant representation

T. Parker Host, which provides a wide range of shipping services, leased 20,733 square feet at 150 W.  Main St. in Norfolk. Corrie, Landon Hinton and Pope Hackney of JLL represented the tenant.

Mitre Corp.  leased 19,026 square feet at 901 Gateway Blvd. in  Hampton. Stearns and Bob Shue of JLL represented the tenant.

Alutiiq leased 15,228 square feet at 737 Volvo Parkway in Chesapeake.   Hinton and Hackney represented the tenant.

Battelle Memorial Institute leased 13,250 square feet at 501 Progress Lane in Virginia Beach. Stearns represented the tenant.

Woolpert Inc. renewed its lease for 11,259 square feet at 676 Independence Parkway in Chesapeake. Lexis Livengood of DTZ and Stearns of JLL represented the tenant.
