Nelson County-based Bold Rock Hard Cider is now offering its craft cider in cans.
The company’s Bold Rock Apple is being released in singles and packs of four 16-ounce cans, the company says. The cans can be brought to locations where glass is discouraged or prohibited, Bold Rock says.
“This is something our loyal customers have been requesting, so we’re excited to give them the crisp and refreshing taste of craft cider in convenient cans,” Jeff Liebhardt, Bold Rock’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement.
Bold Rock was founded in 2012 and employs 32 people in Virginia. It has a production facility and tasting room in Nellysford and plans to open a second production facility in Mills River, N.C., this month.
