Blue Ridge Cancer Care (BRCC) said Wednesday it has opened a new cancer center in Lexington, its 10th location in the state.
BRCC is a private practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Drs. William Fintel and Padmaja Mallidi, medical oncologists and hematologists with BRCC, are currently accepting appointments and seeing patients at the Lexington office located at 108 Houston St., Suite B.
“There’s a need in the Lexington community for community-based cancer care,” Fintel said in a statement. “We opened this location to meet that need and ensure patients could receive high-quality cancer care without traveling long distances.”
BRCC offers medical oncology, hematology, genetic risk assessment and clinical research services. The company offers Phase II, III and IV clinical trials through its affiliation with US Oncology Research.
