Since 2022, Codina has overseen North American operations for Alfa Laval, a leading manufacturer of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling products. She started her new position at the Swedish company after a stint as senior vice president of its U.S. service and marine divisions, a role in which role she boosted customer satisfaction and prompted double-digit growth.
Currently, Alfa Laval is partnering on an innovative project, the New York Climate Exchange, a $700 million climate research, education and innovation campus on Governors Island that is set to open in 2028. Alfa Laval will be providing wastewater and heat transfer solutions for the project, which will be led by Stony Brook University.
Prior to joining Alfa Laval in 2019, Codina worked for Sandvik Coromant, a Swedish maker of manufacturing tools and machining solutions, holding positions that took her to Sweden, the U.K., the U.S. and Mexico. A native of Spain, she studied business administration, sales and marketing at the London Business School.
