McLean-based Booz Allen Hamilton announced Tuesday it has opened an office in Singapore.
The consulting firm says the new location will serve as a hub for the firm’s operations in Southeast Asia.
Don Pressley, a senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, is overseeing the Singapore office.
Mike Jones, an executive vice president at the firm, said in a statement that the company is pleased to start serving clients in Singapore. Jones said Booz Allen Hamilton expects to see the most global growth within the next 10 to 20 years in India, China and Southeast Asia due to a burgeoning middle-class. The demand will require investments across the region in government reform, infrastructure, health-care services, transportation, and advanced manufacturing, which are capability areas for the company. Late last year, the company expanded its Abu Dhabi office.
Booz Allen Hamilton provides management consulting, technology, and engineering services to government and civil clients. It employs more than 22,000 people, and had revenue of $5.48 billion for the 12 months ended March 31, 2014.
