Fairfax-based ECS Federal LLC has received a contract valued up to $429.5 million from the Defense Information Systems Agency to improve security and reduce risk across the Army’s computer networks, the Pentagon announced Friday.

Work will be performed on behalf of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command starting Sept. 29 through March 28, 2023, with four 12-month option periods and two three-month option periods. ECS Federal was one of three companies to submit proposals for the contract, the Pentagon said.

The U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Commands leads global operations for the services’ portion of the Department of Defense Information Networks.
