Sam’s Club has leased 136,454 square feet of retail space in The Marquis mixed-use development in Williamsburg.
Divaris Real Estate Inc. announced the deal Monday for the project, located at 500 Marquis Parkway.
Mary McGovern of DRE’s Virginia Beach office and Zach Means and Larry Agnew of DRE’s Richmond office handled lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord, Marquis Williamsburg Real Estate Holdings LLC.
Other tenants at The Marquis include Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s and J.C. Penney.
The Marquis at Williamsburg is a 100-acre retail/entertainment development located at the intersection of I-64 and Marquis Parkway. It recently received approval for a 250,000-square-foot addition, which will encompass the new Sam’s Club.
