A Virginia Tech alumnus, Moulden has been with Yount, Hyde & Barbour since he entered the accounting profession in 1988. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, he also serves as treasurer for the Frederick County Fair Association and is a board member and treasurer for Our Health, a Winchester health nonprofit.
In May, YHB announced that it would acquire Glass Jacobson, a Maryland-based tax, accounting and consulting firm, adding 60 team members and two offices. “We expect their team’s capabilities will enhance our already rapidly expanding reach into the Maryland/D.C. market,” Moulden says. That followed YHB’s September 2021 acquisition of Falls Church-based CPA firm Wilhelm & Associates Ltd.
YHB has about 300 employees and reported $37.95 million in revenue for fiscal year 2021.
