Paulk is a construction lawyer who has led Hirschler’s 90 attorneys since 2018 as the firm’s first woman president. Her focus has been on growing the firm, known for its real estate and construction law practices. In addition to leading the firm, Paulk also heads Hirschler’s litigation section.
The University of Mary Washington and University of Richmond School of Law graduate is a member of the Associated General Contractors and the Virginia State Bar Construction Law and Public Contracts Section. She is also an American Bar Foundation fellow.
Paulk is also well-known as an ultra-distance open water swimmer. In August 2021, she became the first person to twice complete the “Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming” — swimming the 28.5-mile circumference of Manhattan and crossing the 20-mile Catalina Channel and the 21-mile English Channel.
