The Fortune 500 IT services company made another move, downsizing its headquarters and moving from Tysons to Ashburn in 2021 as it sought a hybrid-friendly workplace.
Salvino joined DXC in 2019. The company was formed from the merger of Computer Science Corp. and the Enterprise Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Corp. in 2017. For fiscal 2022, DXC reported $16.3 billion in revenue, down from $17.73 billion for fiscal 2021. DXC said in August that it’s undergoing an internal overhaul to become better focused and more cost-effective. The company has more than 136,000 employees globally, with 580 based in Virginia.
DXC exited its Russian business in 2022 in response to the Ukraine invasion, and also made a 200% match for employee donations to Red Cross humanitarian efforts. In July, DXC became sleeve sponsor for British soccer team Manchester United.
A graduate of Marietta College in Ohio, Salvino serves on boards for Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering and the Atrium Health Foundation.
