Virginia firm adds new commercial and private banker

A Virginia bank with operations in two states has a new hire.
First Bank & Trust Co. has hired Mary Anne Hecht as a commercial and private banker.
Hecht has 20 years of banking experience. She most recently worked for Morgan Stanley as a credit officer and portfolio manager and as a commercial and private banker.
Hecht is working out of a First Bank & Trust office in Blacksburg. She is tasked with developing private banking and wealth management clients in the New River Valley. Hecht also is focused on services related to treasury management and commercial lending.
First Bank & Trust’s total deposits as of Sept. 30, 2018 were $1.4 million, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. The bank has its headquarters in Lebanon in Russell County and was formed in 1979.
The bulk of First Bank & Trust’s 26 locations are in Virginia, with four locations in Tennessee, according to the FDIC.
