The Virginia Chamber of Commerce has named a new chair of its board of directors. Seventeen people also have been elected to the board.
During its annual meeting, held at the Omni Richmond Hotel, the chamber elected Charlie Meyer as chair. Meyer is a Richmond-based attorney and managing partner at O’Hagan Meyer, an employment and business law firm with offices in multiple states, including three Virginia locations. He succeeds Suzy Kelly, CEO of Chesapeake-based Jo-Kell Inc.
The board of directors also elected Paige Clay as first vice chair. Clay is the managing partner for Mercer, leading the mid-South market, which includes the Carolinas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.
