CBRE|Richmond announces its partnership with Greenberg Gibbons as the exclusive leasing agent for retail services at Westchester Commons in Chesterfield County. The 128-acre shopping center is the retail component within the Watkins Centre, a 650-acre master planned regional employment and residential project.
Located at the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike and Route 288, the 650,000-square-foot development is anchored by Target, Regal Cinemas, Gold’s Gym, PetCo and OfficeMax. Other current tenants include Sedona Taphouse, Starbucks, and Verizon Wireless.
“This is a very well positioned shopping center, serving an affluent customer base with an expressed desire for higher end retail services,” Kevin South, vice president at CBRE|Richmond, said in a statement. “We have been working closely with Greenberg Gibbons to capitalize on the current upswing in retail momentum and bring in some high quality national tenants as well as quality local and regional operators.“
Greenberg Gibbons, based out of Owings Mills, Md., develops mixed-use town center and retail properties. It portfolio includes more than 10.6 million square feet of existing and new development .
