Reynolds Development has begun construction on a 19,000-square-foot retail building at The Shoppes at Reynolds Crossing in Henrico County.
The building at the corner of Glenside and Forest avenues is 70 percent leased, according to commercial real estate company CBRE|Richmond.
Tenants include Starbucks, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, Hair Cuttery, Ntelos Wireless, Lee Nails and Salad Works.
The project was designed by Freeman & Morgan Architects and financed by Park Sterling Bank.
Opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.
The Shoppes at Reynolds Crossing will be anchored by a 90,000-square-foot Walmart, which is scheduled to open May 21.
A 40,000-square-foot, two-story office building also is under construction at Reynolds Crossing that will be occupied by Sheltering Arms and First Tennessee Bank.
