Reston-based Calkain Cos. has opened an office in Atlanta.
As it enters the metro Atlanta market, the net-lease brokerage firm noted that the city is of interest to Calkain's clients, which include private and institutional investors.
Stephen Counts and Hunter Roquemore will lead the new office.
Counts is a former member of Calkain's Tampa, Fla., office and relocated to Atlanta. He earned the title of “Rookie of the Year” at Calkain in years past. According to Calkain, his knowledge of the Southeast markets has facilitated transactions for developers, owners and investors throughout Florida and Georgia.
Roquemore is from Atlanta. He’s formerly a vice president with Raving Brands, which housed such restaurant concepts as Moe's Southwest Grill, Mama Fu's, Boneheads and Shane's Rib Shack. Roquemore also provided consulting services for retail commercial real estate developers as well as managed assets totaling more than $175 million.
