LMO Advertising has moved to a 21,000-square-foot office space on the top floor of Skanska’s building on 1776 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington.

The space offers an employee-inspired open floor plan for the Arlington-based advertising and marketing agency.

“After 18 years in business, it was time to completely rethink the way we work and the space in which we do it. We didn’t want an office to house employees. We wanted a destination for valued clients to come and be creative with our talented professionals,” Chris Laughlin, president of LMO, said in a statement.

LMO’s office is an open-concept layout with nearly half of the 21,000 square feet defined as “public space.” It includes collaboration, conference and meeting areas.  The office includes a game room, a studio and space where clients can be productive while visiting the agency. The office also offers a mother’s room to accommodate mothers’ needs.

As part of the building selection and new office design, LMO sought a sustainable destination for employees. This guided LMO’s selection of the Skanska building, which is the first platinum-certified LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building in Arlington. The building is equipped with solar panels and has a shared rooftop.

In an effort to foster the area’s growing artistic culture, LMO is working to establish a creative corridor with the Rosslyn Business Improvement District (RBID).

“LMO embodies the creative energy that represents what is already happening here in Rosslyn, and it inspires our view of the future,” said Mary-Claire Burick, President of the RBID. “We are excited to bring this idea of a creative corridor to life in Rosslyn.”
