Four Virginia companies make Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens list

Four Virginia companies have made Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 2014 100 Best Corporate Citizens list. This list recognizes publicly traded companies that had outstanding corporate responsibility performances in 2013.


The Virginia companies are: Henrico County-based Altria (No. 39); Northrop Grumman Corp., in Falls Church (No. 44); Richmond-based Dominion Resources (No. 71) and Computer Sciences Corp. , based in Falls Church (No.90). The No. 1 company on the list is Bristol-Myers Squibb, a New York-based pharmaceutical company.


The list documents 298 data points gathered from publicly available resources in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy. The list ranks the Russell 1000 Index.
