Continental Terminals, a leading importer of coffee beans and the largest handler of specialty coffee in the U.S., has signed a lease extension for its distribution center space in Suffolk.

The company will continue to occupy 55,000 square feet at 1305 Progress Road/

Gregg Christoffersen, a vice president in the Norfolk office of JLL, negotiated the lease extension on behalf of the landlord, CPI Associates III. “This location provides Continental Terminals access to several clients in the immediate area, including J. M. Smucker, Massimo Zanetti and Green Mountain Coffee, among others,” Christoffersen said in a statement.  “The company has been very successful in growing its business from this building and wanted to maintain that growth trajectory for years to come.”

1305 Progress Road is a 174,500-square-foot, Class B industrial building located at the intersection of Wilroy Road and Routes 13/58/460 in Suffolk, across the street from the Sara Lee coffee plant in the Wilroy Industrial Park.
