Norfolk-based Titan America’s CEO Aris Papadopoulos announced he is retiring, effective Aug. 1. Titan Group CFO Bill Zarkalis will succeed Papadopoulos, who will stay on as an adviser and become executive chairman of ST Equipment & Technologies.
Zarkalis joined Titan Group in 2008 as director of business development. He previously held executive positions at Dow Chemical. Michael Colakides will take over Zarkalis’ CFO role on May 16.
Titan America LLC is a heavy building materials firm whose products include cement, ready-mixed concrete, fly ash and mineral beneficiation equipment. It is part of Titan Group, based in Athens, Greece.
