McLean- and Bedford, Massachusetts-based The Mitre Corp. promoted two long-time executives to chief medical and technology officer and chief financial officer, the company announced Oct. 5.
Jay Schnitzer is now senior vice president, chief medical and technology officer and Wilson Wang is now senior vice president, CFO.
Schnitzer directs and manages Mitre’s $70 million independent research and development program, develops corporate technology strategy and leads national initiatives in health and life sciences. He has been with Mitre since 2013.
Wang has created new enterprise capabilities for financial analytics and has been a vice president and CFO since 2018.
Founded in 1958, Mitre is a nonprofit organization that manages federally funded research and development centers.
