Winchester-based American Woodmark Corp. has named a new chief financial officer.
M. Scott Culbreth will assume the role on Feb. 24.
American Woodmark manufactures and distributes kitchen cabinets and vanities for the remodeling and new home construction markets.
Before joining American Woodmark, Culbreth was CFO of Piedmont Hardware Brands, an international manufacturer of hardware acquired from Newell Rubbermaid by NOVA Capital last September.
Before that, Culbreth held a variety of financial roles with increasing responsibility with Newell Rubbermaid, Robert Bosch Corp. and Shell Oil Co.
Culbreth earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in business from Washington University.
American Woodmark’s products are sold on a national basis directly to home centers, major builders and through a network of independent distributors.
The company operates nine manufacturing facilities and nine service centers.
