Andrew J. Cripps has been named the new president and CEO of the Isle of Wight-Smithfield-Windsor Chamber of Commerce.
Cripps, who has more than 14 years of experience as a chamber of commerce executive, is scheduled to begin his new duties on Jan. 28.
Cripps’ experience includes tenures as CEO of the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce in New Jersey, the Ormond Beach (Fla.) Chamber of Commerce and, most recently, the Sumter County (Fla.) Chamber of Commerce.
In fast-growing Sumter County, Cripps led the chamber to a record membership level. By developing new events and publications, he also helped it rebound from the loss of all government funding.
