Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer said Monday that it has promoted David R. “Chip” Dustin to the position of chief financial officer.

Dustin moves into the CFO role as Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer reports its third year of double-digit revenue growth.

Dustin joined the firm in 2002. He has served as controller and vice president of operations and in 2011 assumed the role of senior vice president and treasurer.  He also has managed Thalhimer’s Project Solutions Group and played a key role in the firm’s expansion into North Carolina and South Carolina.

As CFO, Dustin will be responsible for the financial structure of the firm’s real estate brokerage, management, construction and development operating groups. He also will lead the firm’s banking relationships, risk management and information technology strategies.

Dustin graduated from the University of Richmond with a business degree and earned an MBA from Loyola College.  He started his career with Westinghouse and has held financial management positions with Sprint PCS, and Great Coastal Express.
