The renovation of a longstanding retail center in Roanoke has drawn two new tenants. Pizza Hut and Water by Design, a hot tub company, have moved into the 42,000-square-foot Promenade Park at 419 Electric Rd. in Roanoke County.
The center is now about 97 percent occupied, said Matt Huff, an associate broker with the Roanoke-based Poe & Cronk commercial real estate firm.
Promenade Park was built in the mid 1980s and remained unchanged until the recent renovation, Huff said. According to him, the center has prevalied as a strong retail property due to its “great location, strong traffic count and good visibility from the road. “
The renovation included a new façade, new signage, and improvements to the roof, sidewalks and landscaping. Poe & Cronk managed the renovation’s construction.
