Shreveport, Louisiana-based Seaside Healthcare LLC announced Tuesday it has acquired two Virginia mental health care practices: Chesterfield-based Simple Intervention and Hopewell-based Second Chances Comprehensive Services LLC.

Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. Both transactions were part of Seaside Healthcare’s plan to expand in Virginia.

Founded in 2014, Simple Intervention provides behavioral health services including mental health skill building, mentoring and behavior aid, medication management and therapy. The company employs more than 20 people.
