The Professional Services Council (PSC) Board of Directors announced Thursday it has reelected Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Reston-based Fortune 500 government contractor Leidos Holdings Inc., as chair for 2021.

The PSC Board of Directors consists of 80 executives from member companies who are elected by their peers. Its leadership includes Krone, along with Vice Chair Carey Smith, president and chief operating officer of Centreville-based defense contractor Parsons Corp.; and Secretary John Heller, CEO of Falls Church-based defense and government services contractor Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE).

“The professional services sector is an essential partner with the federal government in virtually all aspects of its operations and PSC plays a critical role by being a clear and consistent voice for those companies on important issues,” Krone said in a statement. “I look forward to serving in the chair capacity in 2021, working with other member companies to expand and strengthen our collective ability to reach decision makers, shape responses to ongoing challenges and increase engagement with government agencies and other stakeholders.”
