If you want to hear from the president of a large construction company, Mark Hourigan, who heads Hourigan Construction, will participate in a C-Suite conversation Oct. 9, 8 a.m., at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.

The program will be held in Queally Hall, Ukrop Auditorium. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

C-Suite Conversations are unscripted interviews with regional business decision makers and leaders. The series highlights challenges and opportunities of high-level executives and provides insight about how they balance leadership obligations with the needs of stakeholders.

Richard Coughlan, senior associate dean of the Robins School, will interview Hourigan.

Hourigan Construction is a full-service general contracting firm whose work includes office buildings, retail centers, call centers, hospitals, health care facilities, schools and industrial facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region. The company has offices in Richmond and Virginia Beach.

Hourigan has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. He is a member of the advisory board for the School of Building Construction at Virginia Tech and past president of Associated General Contractors and Builders and Contractors Exchange.
