The University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce Foundation is offering its McIntire Business Institute online.
The McIntire Business Institute is a certificate program that offers fundamental knowledge of business theory to students with little business background. Faculty members from U.Va.’s McIntire School of Commerce teach skills and concepts in management, marketing, finance, Excel and accounting.
“We are delighted that this world-class program will be available online to many more students who wish to develop their business skills to meet the demands of a complex and exciting 21st century workplace,” Carl P. Zeithaml, dean of the McIntire school, said in a statement.
Participants in the 15-week program will receive a certificate of completion.
Academic Partnerships is working with U.Va. to convert the program to an online formats and recruit highly qualified students.
The program will be available January 2014.
