Fairfax-based accounting firm Thompson, Greenspon & Co. PC has announced several promotions and new hires.
David Falwell, CPA, has been promoted to manager in the firm’s tax department. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in accounting.
In addition, Gray Coyner, CPA, and Erin Easterbrooks, CPA, have been named to supervisors in the firm’s audit department. Coyner began working full-time in the audit department in 2008 after graduating for Union University. Easterbrooks joined the firm in 2009. She earned her bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and her accounting certificate at George Mason University.
All three promotions are effective on Aug. 1.
Also Julianna Prince has joined the firm as marketing manager, and Rose Du has become a senior accountant in the tax department. A graduate of James Madison University with a degree in marketing, Prince will lead the firm’s marketing, communication and branding strategies. Du has worked in the tax department of several other local and regional CPA firms.
