René Cabral-Daniels has joined Community Care Network of Virginia Inc. in Richmond as its new CEO.
Cabral-Daniels is the former director of office of policy and planning at the Virginia Department of Health. She also is an attorney who formerly worked for the Office of General Counsel at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the agency responsible for implementing the majority of Affordable Care Act regulations.
She also worked as a vice president for grant programs at the Williamsburg Community Health Foundation. Cabral-Daniels has received numerous awards for her work, including the William E. Cole Award for Outstanding Community Partner from Virginia Community Healthcare Association .
CCNV is a health-care management firm owned by Virginia’s community health centers. It equips Federally Qualified Health Centers, private practices, hospitals, managed care organizations, and provider networks for excellence.
