John A. Luke Jr., chairman and CEO of Richmond-based MeadWestvaco Corp., has been named to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation board of trustees.

Luke has been chairman and chief executive officer of MeadWestvaco since a 2002 merger between Mead and Westvaco, which he led for almost a decade prior.
