Richmond-based D1 Moving LLC purchased the warehouse for its moving services.

A former Tailored Brands warehouse in Richmond sold for $2.2 million, Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announced Tuesday.
The warehouse is located at 3215 Williamsburg Road in the city of Richmond. Richmond-based D1 Moving LLC purchased the 52,500-square-foot facility, which sits on nearly 6 acres of land.
D1 Moving, which is currently located at 4817 Bethlehem Road in Richmond, will use the building for its services. The moving company was founded in 2015, and before this purchase, had 150,000 square feet in storage warehouses.
The company has a 20-truck fleet and offers packing, long-term storage, junk hauls, auction pick-ups, package receiving and delivery services. D1 Moving also has a Washington, D.C., location for its Northern Virginia business.
