Bruce Cottrill most recently comes from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission.

Danville Community College announced Tuesday it has hired Bruce Cottrill as its associate vice president of human resources, a new position for the college.
Cottrill relocated from Charleston, West Virginia, where he was most recently the interim vice chancellor for human resources with the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission and the West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in history and master’s degree in industrial relations from West Virginia University.
Danville Community College is a two-year community college that serves the city of Danville, Pittsylvania County and Halifax County.
