Herndon-based information technology and management training course provider Learning Tree International Inc. on Wednesday named David Brown as its new CEO and a member of the board of directors.
Brown most recently worked as the global head of sales and services for information services company Clarivate Analytics. He also previously worked for international multimedia company Thomson Reuters Corp. as president of its IP solutions business.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in history and computer applications from the University of Notre Dame and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina. He also serves on the board of the National Brain Tumor Society.
Learning Tree was founded in 1974 and has more than 2.5 million people employed globally in information technology and business positions.
