Content management systems developer CoreMedia AG has promoted Jim Stirewalt to chief revenue officer, the company announced Monday.
Stirewalt most recently was CoreMedia’s senior vice president and general manager of the Americas. He has also held leadership roles at software companies including SAP and IBM.
Stirewalt will manage CoreMedia’s global revenue-generating functions such as sales, pre-sales and partner management out of the German company’s U.S. headquarters in Arlington County.
“Jim has extensive experience developing company-wide revenue generation processes and is an excellent fit for this critical role,” CoreMedia CEO Soeren Stamer said in a statement.
Founded in 1996, CoreMedia was founded in 1996 and has created content management systems (CMS) for clients such as Deckers Outdoor Corp., PVH Corp., Finnair and T-Mobile.
