Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announced the sale Wednesday of about 50 acres located near the Kiln Creek subdivision on Commonwealth Green Boulevard in York County and Newport News.
Commonwealth Green LLLP purchased the land from JLK Family LLC for $6.4 million. According to Thalhimer, the buyer plans to develop the property into a mixed-use project called Commonwealth Green, which will include 334 apartments, 94 town homes and 40,000 square feet of retail.

Chris Rouzie and Ken Penrose of Thalhimer handled sale negotiations for the seller.
