Martinsville-based commercial bank Carter Bank & Trust promoted two long-time employees to senior leadership positions, the bank announced Tuesday.

Meece

Former senior finance officer Andy Meece has been promoted to senior vice president and has been with the bank since 2006. Meece works in financial forecasting and modeling and serves as the chairman of the bank’s asset-liability committee overseeing the bank’s interest rate risk, liquidity profile and funds management.

The Collinsville native holds degrees in finance and bank management from Virginia Tech and Louisiana State University.

Carter Bank & Trust also promoted former accounting operations manager Tammy C. Ingram to senior vice president. She has been with the bank for 24 years.

Ingram

Ingram manages the accounting operations process and the bank’s accounting staff and preparation of financial statements. She has a bachelor’s in accounting from Liberty University.

Both Meece and Ingram completed the Virginia Banker’s School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia.

Carter Bank & Trust is a $4 billion state-chartered community bank with more than 100 branches in Virginia and North Carolina.
