A dozen Virginia employers have been recognized for their efforts to hire military veterans
The employers, which ranged from small companies to major corporations, received awards on Thursday at the 7th Annual V3 Award Luncheon in Richmond.
The award recipients are participants in the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program, which has certified more than 900 businesses, state and local government agencies and educational institutions. These employers have hired more than 51,000 veterans since the program’s inception in 2012.
