Newport News-based construction firm W.M. Jordan Co. has promoted two employees.
Skip Smith, former vice president of business development, is now vice president of development.
Glenn Thompson, former business development manager, is now director of business development.
Smith sits on the boards of the Hampton Roads Alliance, DePaul Health Foundation, Norfolk, and the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad. He is past president of the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate and past chairman of DePaul Health Foundation.
Thompson serves as vice chair elect of the Virginia Associated General Contractors and is a founding member and chairman of the ACE Mentor Program of Central Virginia, a nationwide program designed to introduce high school students to career in the building design and construction industry.
