G-Mart, an international grocery store specializing in Latin and Asian foods, is making its first entry in Hampton Roads. Divaris Real Estate Inc. in Virginia Beach said Thursday that the store has leased 33,963 square feet of retail space in the Lynnhaven Green Shopping Center at 1505 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach.
According to Divaris, G-Mart, which got its start in Buford, Ga., plans to open four more stores in Hampton Roads over the next several months.
The Lynnhaven Green shopping center is leased by DRE and managed by Divaris Property Management Corp. Other tenants in the center include Dollar General and China Wok.
Gerald Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris, and David Bickford, a sales and leasing associate, handled lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord, Lone Ranger LLC.
