Chef Fabio Trabocchi opened his third Sfoglina for Trabocchi restaurant — and his first location in Northern Virginia — in Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood in early October.
Trabocchi owns award-winning Italian restaurants in Washington D.C., including the Michelin-starred Fiola and the award-winning Fiola Mare and Del Mar. He has also won the James Beard Award for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic. The other two Sfoglina restaurants are located in the district.
Sfoglina Rosslyn, which serves handmade pasta and features a prosciutto and mozzarella bar, is located in the mixed-use tower at 1100 Wilson Boulevard in a 4,500-square-foot space. It seats 130 and will offer catering service for events held on the building’s rooftop deck.
Monday Properties, a real estate firm based in New York, handled the transaction.
