VCU Health System and Humana have struck a deal that provides in-network access for Humana Medicare Advantage members at VCU Health System facilities throughout Virginia.
The agreement goes into effect Jan. 1. It will provide in-network access for Humana Medicare Advantage Health Maintenance Organization, Preferred Provider Organization and Private Fee-for-Service health plan members throughout Virginia seeking care at VCU Health System.
Humana offers Medicare Advantage plans across Virginia. The plans include coverage for inpatient and outpatient health care accepted at all VCU Health System facilities in Virginia.
VCU Health System includes an academic medical center with nearly 40,000 admissions and nearly 780,000 outpatient visits a year.
