CACI International Inc. has acquired IDL Solutions, expanding its presence in the health-care market.

The move follows CACI’s acquisition of health-care IT provider Emergint Technologies Inc. in November 2012.

“CACI’s acquisition of IDL Solutions, coupled with our recent acquisition of Emergint Technologies, is an important step in our strategy to build CACI’s healthcare IT business,” said Dan Allen, CACI president and CEO.

IDL Solutions is headquartered in Germantown, Wis., and has federal offices in Reston. The company helps health-care organizations gain insights from large volumes of health data to improve business processes and patient care. The company, which has more than 100 employees, works primarily in application development, data analytics, business automation and IT support.

The company has contracts with the Department of Human and Health Services. It’s 2012 revenue is expected to be $18.5 million and will be slightly accretive to CACI’s earnings per share during its first 12 months.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
