Danny Hughes has been named executive vice president and president, Americas at McLean-based Hilton.
Hughes will oversee Hilton’s interests in North, Central and South America with a focus on enhancing the managed portfolio.
Since 2014, Hughes has led Hilton’s Revenue Management and Sales team as senior vice president and commercial director in the Americas.
Hughes previously served as senior vice president, Latin America and Caribbean.
He will be based at the company’s global headquarters in McLean.
Hilton has a portfolio of 14 world-class brands comprising more than 5,400 properties with nearly 880,000 rooms, in 106 countries and territories.
